About this study

This study found that COPD patients had lower cognitive test scores compared to healthy individuals, with 25% showing cognitive impairment. However, vitamin D and its binding protein levels did not correlate with cognitive function. Smoking history and lower education levels were stronger predictors of cognitive decline in COPD patients.
